Our experience started in 1870, when Ernesto Greco funded his first shipping* agency called “Ernesto Greco & Figli”. During the years his sons, Umberto and* Arturo joined the company. They created a new specialized agency appointing in* the shipping activity of import/ export and custom assistance.

The growth of the company became stronger, consequently Ernesto Jr. was able to obtain his own* cargo ships, in the 50’s he was importing / exporting steel in the Persian Golf, America, West Africa* and the outskirts of the Orient.

----The beginning of the 80’s, his son Carlo, just out of University, after a work* experience in the United States with the company “Norfolk”, joined his father’s side* in the “ Family business”.

In 1985, Carlo decided to create 2 companies, that had 2 different specialization: the historical company, “ Ernesto Greco di Arturo snc”, which occupies the sector of import / export and custom documents and the new company “ Greco Mare sas.”, that dedicates in the shipping activities.

From 1990, Ernesto Jr. conveys both companies to his son Carlo.
Carlo expanded and developed them, particularly in the international cliental, the level became higher.

Creating in 1998 the “E & C Greco Mare s.r.l. obtaining new cliental in the sector of cruise ships and “Husbanding” military ships.
